Writer, designer, and photographer based in Washington, D.C. + Boulder, Colorado. Currently honing my craft at GW School of Media.

Intro

The creative process is visceral. It’s a full-body experience. My work is inspired by the people I descend from, the people who have molded and mentored me, and the people I see every day. Design is a reflection of perspective, and I use my design to tell my stories visually.

Design

My graphic design journey started at the Royal Banner Newspaper at Fairview High School in Boulder. I was passionate about editorial design and the crossroads between journalism and design, and that discovery continues to drive me today.

My coursework at GW’s graphic design department has further familiarized me with the Adobe Suite and the construction of custom texture tools. I employ this experience in design for campus publications and personal projects.

Photography

I’ve been a film photography junkie for years, and have been lucky to have my work published in a few different publications over the years.
